Wireless Headstages
COMING SOON! Wireless headstage solutions for small and large animal models.
Spike Neuro is finalizing the development of small animal wireless solution, designed for mice and songbirds. Our lightweight Bluetooth solution provides 4 channels of recording only and 8 channels of recording + stimulation. The onboard digitization of the wireless signal allows recording directly to the PC. Coupled with integration to the Open Ephys open-source software platform, this outstanding headstage option will easily integrate into any research lab.
Additionally, Spike Neuro continues development of a hybrid backscatter radio wireless headstage option for large animal models. This 16-32 channel count system uses passive backscatter modulation at the headstage moving much of the power consumption, and thus weight, to the base-station (receiver). We are excited to continue the development and testing of this device.
