Any number of channels in between will use the larger diameter tubing. For example, a 12 channel LMA with 12.5um contact sites will use a 0.018" OD tubing.

  • a = Length of polyimide tube (15 mm max. for 12.5 µm wire)
  • b = Length of Stainless or Microfill Tube.
  • d = Distance between contacts.
  • n = Number of recording sites.
  • X = Diameter of polyimide tube (refer to the table 1).
  • Y = Diameter of Stainless Steel tube is approx. 50% larger than Polyimide tube.
