WE ARE SPIKE NEURO
Spike Neuro was established in 2021 by three dedicated individuals – Lawrence Savoy, Charla Howard, and Rebecca Gerth. They shared a vision to create a company from scratch that would provide innovative tools for neuroscience researchers. They built Spike Neuro with a commitment to using advanced manufacturing techniques and intentional collaboration. They realized that years of research into the next generation of electrophysiology tools was ready to come to fruition and this work needed a dedicated team to bring it to commercialization.
Through determination, collaboration, and support of private investment and the Ann Arbor business development community, we have developed our proprietary Rubide Neural Probes. Our Rubide Surface Engineering Technology utilizes superior materials while bringing legacy silicon neural probe manufacturing up to date with the latest MEMS methodology. The result is a more robust and biocompatible neural probe that is perfect for advancing the development of groundbreaking BCI and medical device technology.
INNOVATIVE AND CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY
Our team is committed to staying ahead of the curve and staying prepared for the future. We are eager to collaborate with other innovators to develop new products through federal grants and private funding. We have established several industry and academic partnerships in order to make new and exciting neuroscience technology readily available to the research community. We believe that neuroscience research holds tremendous promise in addressing the needs of individuals with neurological disorders and diseases. However, it is important for great research to be shared and made accessible to provide the greatest benefit.
Spike Neuro is dedicated to seeing exceptional research through commercialization so that the latest technology can be accessible to all researchers. In the upcoming years, we will introduce further advancements to Neural Probe technology, wireless accessories, and tools to support multimodal and high channel count research.
